Step 121: Necessity – Mother of Invention

“When you tear out a man’s tongue, you are not proving him a liar, you’re only telling the world that you fear what he might say.”  ~George R.R. Martin

Here’s an experiment to see how much “baggage” is being carried.  Find a backpack and a bag of potatoes.  Make a list of all the people you are angry with – you know – those people who did you wrong.  For each person – take a potato and carve their name and the date of the transgression on it.  Put it in the backpack.  Put the backpack on and you are allowed to take it off ONLY when you go to bed.  Eventually the potatoes will get heavier and start to stink. See how many potatoes are still in the bag on July 4, 2019.  Today recognize the baggage being carried – and hopefully – by July 4th – the backpack will be much lighter.  The 2 dates are connected.  All is well!   ❤
